Pass-Py is a desktop application for creating passport photo sheets. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our software and website.

2. Desktop Application — What We Collect

Pass-Py processes everything locally on your computer. We do NOT collect, upload, or store your photos.

• Photos you upload: All images are processed entirely on your device using local AI models (rembg) and local libraries (Sharp, PDFKit). No photo data ever leaves your computer.
• License key: Your license key is stored locally at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pass-Py\license.key. It is never transmitted to us.
• Trial data: Your trial generation count is stored locally at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pass-Py\trial.json.
• Logs: The app creates local log files in the logs/ folder for debugging purposes. These stay on your device.
• Internet connection: The app works fully offline. No data is sent to any server during photo processing, background removal, or PDF generation.

3. Website — What We Collect

Our landing page does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. We do not collect any personal information through the website.

4. Communication

When you contact us via WhatsApp or email to purchase a license, we receive your phone number or email address. This information is used solely to deliver your license key and provide support. We do not share it with third parties.

5. Payment Information

We do not collect or store any payment information. All payments are processed through UPI/bank transfer directly between you and the developer.

6. Data Storage & Security

• All app data is stored locally on your Windows PC.
• Temporary files created during processing are automatically deleted.
• We do not have access to any data on your computer.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page.
